My journey to create a Web site to assist tennis clubs started when I was hired at a large athletic and told to find tennis software that would allow for online court reservations. However, I wanted more functions out of a tennis software – something that could help with my day to day tasks and allow me to spend more time on the court and less time on the computer, on the phone and in the books. I researched every tennis club management business I could find. And I wasn’t happy with any of the options.
 
Still left with the task to have online reservations for our club, I chose a company that charged an outrageous set up fee, a monthly fee twice as high as Tennis Pro Pack, and the site was so difficult to understand that our club had to fly the owner down to train our staff.
 
After a day and a half of intense training, we still couldn’t utilize every part of the site, but I did manage to help this company come up with a match finder function. I tried to explain the need and process for setting up an automated league format, but they did not have the skill to implement.
 
And that’s when I told myself that this could be a great opportunity – a software business that could help the tennis staff, would be easy to understand, and would be cost effective.
 
After the owners of my previous club filed for bankruptcy, I decided to pursue my dream and had the site developed. I partnered with a world-class development and programming company to bring Tennis Pro Pack to life. It is designed to be easy for the tennis staff as well as the members. I wanted it to be easy to use and understand so that tennis professionals would not be overwhelmed.
